CENTRE JEAN PRUM
BTC Bahini Training Centre
The BTC was established end 2008. It was named after the late Jean Prum, father of Francois Prum, chairman and founder of Cooperation Humanitaire Luxembourg, who supported the actions of the Luxembourg NGO for 10 years and became a benefactor of SOS Bahini.
With it we are offering the following trainings:
- Tailoring/sewing/stitching
- Computer training
- Pastry-Backing
- Tofu production
- Dry-cleaning
- NFE classes (Non-Formal-Education)
- Art-Classes (Drawing/Painting)
With the BTC we are providing job-training and non-formal-education, teach income-generating skills and enhance creativity. With it we are targeting the most underprivileged girls and women in Pokhara.
The goods that are produced at the BTC will be sold and the income will serve to sustain our activities.
