Coopération Humanitaire Luxembourg
"Cooperation Humanitaire Luxembourg" (CHL) is a non-profit-organization which was founded in 1996 by Francois Prum and a group of friends. Until today all of them remained faithful supporters of this organization and all are offering their service on a voluntary base.
In 1997 "CHL" obtained the status of a non-government-organization "NGO" granted by the "Ministry of Foreign-Affairs Luxembourg" (MAE).
Over many years CHL organized shipment of humanitarian aid to Buccovine to help the most destitute youths in this extremely poor region of Romania.
Until today CHL is offering support to the foundation "FAM" established at Gura Humorului in Buccovine.
After the integration of Romania into the European Union "CHL" was able to concentrate their humanitarian activities on Nepal and has become the "key-partner" of the Nepal based NGO "SOS Bahini".
"CHL" is supporting a similar project in the Philippines and this in partnership with the NGO "Chameleon".
The projects by SOS Bahini are co financed by the MAE and this by mutual agreement between MAE and CHL.
