“The wind can’t favor your sails until you pick a direction”
Dear friends,
We have picked a direction and the wind is favoring our sails!
We are happy to announce, that this year too we were able to increase our activities and admit more beneficiaries under the umbrella of our organization. A total of eight new girls and one new mother are calling 'SOS Bahini' their home and this month we are in the process to establish IFAP family seven which is comprising eight members.
Moreover our new project the “Crossroad House” has been established where young women that are undergoing vocational training will find a transitional home.

Newsletter - Dashain 2011
The monsoon season is coming to an end and we are now approaching the fall which will last until November. Nature is abundant and lush green this time around, the avocado trees we planted seven years ago are bearing their first fruits and our walnut tree as well is covered with nuts for the first time.
Our efforts too are bearing fruits and our beneficiaries, a constantly growing number, are all thriving and blossoming.

About Us
SOS Bahini in its current form has been established in January 2005. CHL is a Luxembourg based NGO that is working in Cooperation with the MAE (Ministry for Foreign Affairs Luxembourg.)
Other partner organizations are “BONO Direct-Aid” Germany, “Refuge Nepal” England, “A 77” Italy and “Mettalux” Luxembourg. In 2005 the founders of SOS Bahini Nepal Radha Paudel & Raymond Lindinger joined hands with Francois Prum in a mutual vision to fight social injustice towards many of the most underprivileged girls and women in Nepal. We are reaching out to those that are most at risk with the goal to prevent worst forms of discrimination, exploitation and violence.
